さいたま市北区にある盆栽村の盆栽を描いた日本画を元に、400年以上続く老舗の伊場仙で江戸扇子を仕立て上げました。ユネスコ無形文化遺産に登録された東秩父村の細川紙と、金沢の金箔を贅沢に使用しています。和紙に印刷は困難と言われていますが特別なオフセット印刷でそれを可能にしました。絵柄の上に蒔かれた砂子(本金箔の一種)は、雅な光を放ちます。

This special paper is very carefully printed in offset in Kyoto, which is not normally possible for this kind of parchment. after printing, genuine gold leaf from KANAZAWA was applied by hand by the artists., where it has been produced for over 450 years. The company IBASEN has also been producing the fans for over 450 years and is one of the few remaining artisan workshops in Kyoto. It is extremely difficult to reproduce the original colours, but when held, you will discover many beautiful effects.
